What is SSIP
SSIP (Safety Schemes In Procurement) was set up in May 2009 and is open to membership from any health and safety assessment scheme and UKAS accredited Certification Bodies.
For use mainly in the construction industry, the scheme helps buyers and suppliers avoid duplication of a variety of health and safety assessment requirements.
This helps to cut costs when tendering for public or private projects by standardising prequalification criteria.
ACS Registrars is a registered member of SSIP and as a UKAS accredited Certification Body we can register you on the SSIP system as part of your ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001) certification.
